Allan AretDr. Allan G. Ared B. Optom Hons. UNSW, GradCert(Oc. Ther.) MOAA FAAO

Dr. Ared graduated as an Optometrist with honors from the University of NSW in 1994. He underwent his clinical training at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta USA throughout 1995 before settling into private practice in Sydney. He is a key opinion leader and optometric educator for Alcon Australia, the world's largest eyecare company and a frequent contributor to lens care research. He has presented at numerous local and international ophthalmic conferences and is one of only a handful of Australian Optometrists to be honoured with a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. In 2005, Allan developed "Ultravision", a peer reviewed nutritional formula for the treatment of age related macula degeneration. He has also completed a post graduate certificate in ocular therapeutics an extensive training program in medical optometry a keen interest of his practice. Allan the voice of Optometry in NSW can be heard on Sydney's number one radio station 2GB Wednesday night's from 900pm talking "All About Eyes".





Dr. Con Moshegov MBBS (SYD), FRANZCO, FRACS.


Dr. Con Moshegov, principal surgeon at Primary Eye Care, is among Australia’s most highly respected and trusted experts in the field of refractive surgery.  A specialist refractive, corneal and cataract surgeon and graduate of the medical faculty of the University of Sydney, Dr Moshegov underwent his specialist training at the Sydney Eye Hospital. Upon completion of his specialist training in Australia, he embarked on advanced fellowship training in corneal and refractive surgery in the United Kingdom. He decided early in his career to concentrate on refractive surgery as his specialty, and he is one of only a handful of surgeons to have done so in Australia.









Pierre ElmurrPierre Elmurr B. App Sc (Orth), M. App Sc (Sports Science)


Pierre Graduated as an Orthoptist in 1992. He also obtained a masters in exercise and sports science in 1995 and holds the title of honorary research associate at Sydney University. Pierre specializes in children's visual disorders, eye muscle imbalances and vision training. Pierre is also the senior sports vision consultant to the NSW Institue of Sport (NSWIS) and has lectured on eye hand coordination and the fundamentals of sposts vision at numerous local and international conferences. He is a memeber of the Orthoptics Association of Australia and the inventor of the world's most sophisticated eye hand coordination device the "SVT" (Sports Vision Trainer).









Caroline Kwan B. Optom Hons. (UNSW) MOAA Caroline Kwan


Caroline graduated as an Optometrist from the University of NSW in 1995 and has has worked extensively throughout private practice and hospital clinics gaining experience in the diagnosis and managment of ocular diesease, an area of optometry dedicated to high quality patient care. Since joining Primary Eye Care in 2003, Carloline has extended her mode of practice to incorporate the fields of advanced contact lens fitting and low vision assessment. She is an active member of the Optometrists Association of Australia and speaks fluent Cantonese.










Martine Berman B. Optom (RAU) FOA (SA) MOAA Martine Berman


Martine graduated as an Optometrist from the Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa in 1991 receiving the Trust Bank Top Student Award. In 1996 she underwent advanced training in ocular disease ans pharmaceutical application through the New England college of Optometry in Boston USA. Since arriving in Australia in 1999 she has worked in private practice and in 2006 completed competency in Optometry examination becoming a member of the Optometric Association of Australia and an integral part of the Primary Eye Care team.
